
Amber Brajczuk
Director of Middle Years
Amber is a passionate inclusive educator with 20 years experience. Amber has taught various grade levels from K-8, has been a Resource teacher, a learning support teacher, and is now a divisional PBIS teacher with River East Transcona School Division. During her time working in Middle Years, Amber became an avid supporter of scholastic esports which led to coaching students through various titles including Rocket League, Minecraft, Brawlhalla, Pokémon Unite, and Super Smash Brothers.
She is a proud advocate for creating equity in gaming and ensuring that gaming spaces are inclusive for all who want to participate. Amber is a gamer girl whose love of gaming began when she received her very first Nintendo for Christmas in 1987.
Her first favourite games were Duck Hunt and Dr. Mario and when the Super Nintendo released, she developed a love of Mario Kart that continues to this day. She is currently playing through Mario Kart World on the Switch 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC but will happily play any game, even if it’s new to her.
