Membership and fees
Membership to MSEA will allow full participation in all MSEA seasons and titles, It also provides an annual Membership to Esport Canada. This fee will be a one-time cost to schools and is required to be paid in full prior to any MSEA season competition.

The membership fees for the 2025-2026 school year will be:
Early Years (K-5):

Free Membership (Free participation in one planned calendar season - ex. Minecraft build challenge)
Middle Years (6-8):

$150 Membership - (Unlimited calendar season participation)
Senior Years (9-12):
-
$400 Membership Option - (Unlimited calendar season participation)

$250 Membership Option - (any ONE calendar season of choice)
Middle Years/Senior Years Combined (Ex: Grades 7-9 Schools; Grades 6-12, etc.) (MY/SY Combined Schools):

$400 Membership Option - (Unlimited calendar season participation for Middle Years AND Senior Years)
NEW for this year - Early Bird SEE + Membership Combo (SEE Dates are: Thursday, May 21, 2026 - MY & SY; Friday, May 22, 2026 - MY ONLY). RRC Polytech in Winnipeg

$300 for MY schools (SEE attendance and unlimited calendar season participation)

$500 for SY and MY/SY combo schools (SEE attendance and unlimited calendar season participation)
PLEASE NOTE:
• SY is ONLY on Thursday, May 21st this year
• Combination MY/SY schools would be able to access BOTH Thursday, May 21st AND Friday, May 22nd for their MY students with this option, while still also having their SY participate on Thursday, May 21st at the total cost of $500.
If you do not sign up for the SEE + Membership combo, you will still need to pay the regular SEE fee to attend

$250 for both days - Thursday, May 21st AND Friday, May 22nd (MY option only)
DISCLAIMER: If you sign up for the SEE + Membership option but decide not to attend SEE, no refunds can be issued for the SEE portion of the registration.
PLEASE NOTE: In the event that MSEA receives sponsorship to support school fees again this year, schools who pre-register using the SEE + Membership option will be reimbursed the difference, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for any sponsorship or grants available. (For example: Payworks' sponsorship in SEE 2025).
